Dr. Huang has been a pioneer in the development of biodegradable plastics since 1986. As the founder of Minima Technology and Chairman of the Board of the Environmentally Biodegradable Polymer Association Taiwan, as well as a previous Board Director of BPI USA. Dr. Huang is a leader in developing and producing biodegradable products in accordance with the environmental protection laws of each country.
With a team of international biopolymer specialists, Minima is committed to producing sustainable and environmentally-friendly products and packaging. By providing manufacturers and retailers with earth-friendly alternatives, Minima aims to help reduce the impact of plastic waste on the environment. Dr. Huang’s goal is to encourage more conscious decision-making around manufacturing, consumer, and retail packaging and products. The time to act is now, and Minima is leading the way towards a more sustainable future.
Mr. Huang earned a masters of business administration (MBA) from National Chin-Yi University of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree from National Chung Hsing University.
Before moving to Mitsubishi, Mr. Sonoda was deputy general manager of Taiyo Ltd. (Kaohsiung, Taiwan) from 1993 – 1998.
Mr. Sonoda studied at KEIO University – Taiyang where he earned a degree in chemical engineering.
